Stars Dance Team -Tuesday Gymnastics and Dance Technique Class

We want to say hats off to Keisha and Jacey they are working on their cartwheel over the chair, soon they will have it great, :)

Tarrin worked on her back walk over, it was so smooth no stopping.

The rest of the class worked on double turns and technique.

Wednesday Dance Night

Super Stars and All Stars are working real hard on the ITR, Deanna did part of the dance awesome.

Small Stars are a so much fun, they love to come to dance, they have so many smiles.

 Adult hip hop was great tonight we have learned all most all of the routine.

Saturday Practice

It was a long day of practice. However, the Stars did great. :) We started with Sha Sha Slide which is alot of fun……Then we went right in working on our dance routine that we will be doing Saturday 20th.

We had a hour lunch which the Stars got to know each other.

Then we went back in perfecting our routine. I just want to thank everybody for their hard work and giving up their Saturday for our practice. Love you all

About Us

The STARS dance team has more than 2,000 members nationwide. Dancers learn proper dance technique, fun and challenging routines, and many life skills such as: the importance of teamwork, goal-setting, and discipline. Participants perform at many community functions as well as national half-time shows, and state & national dance competitionsThe atmosphere at our studio is that of an extended family. Parents, grandparents, siblings and friends of each dancer are encouraged to get involved.Director Glenda Heskett is from Ashton and Assisant director Michele Pacheco is from Rexburg. Glenda has been a director of the STARS for 21 years and has been located in Rexburg, Idaho for the past eight years. Michele has been dancing since she was three years old. The directors have 26 years of combined experience in teaching all ages and different styles of dance. The Stars have been a competition team since 1985, winning superiors and 1st place. We are also a performance team that goes to different schools to show our award winning routines.

Adult Hip Hop Night

We are having lots of fun at our adult hip hop. We are learning a dance by Michele.

If you want to come and try just show up to the dance class at 8:30 pm on Wednesdays. We do have alot of fun :) and the routine is awesome…….

Extra Practice This Week!!!

The STARS will be apart of great dance off. Teams and judges coming from all over. It will be held on Saturday October 20th. It will be held at Madison Jr High School.

It will be a dance war. Sounds like fun…. :)

We will be at the studio this Saturday the 13th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Wow the STARS will be tried. :)

Performing for the Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz invited the Rockie Mountain STARS to perform for them November 30th. They will be playing the LA Lakers, WOW!!  :) What a great opportunity this is for our STAR Dancers. If you would like to buy a ticket from the STARS call 716-0041 the price is $25.00
